Throttle Side grip installation
Step 1. Separate the switch housings by removing the screws, but keep them as you will re-use them. Loosen the screws on the brake clamp to separate the switch housing halves.
Step 2. Slide the stock handgrip assembly off the handlebars.
Step 3. Slide on the new grip making sure the teeth on the inside of the grip are engaged in the teeth of the sensor, and the flange is seated inside the switch housing.
Step 4. Reassemble the switch housing using the two screws that were removed. Tighten the screws on the brake clamp if they were loosened.
Clutch Side grip installation
Step 1. Remove the clutch side grip.
Step 2. Sand the clutch side handlebar surface with 80-100 grit sandpaper to remove any previous glue or rubber residue.
Step 3. Loosen a bit the screw on the grip.
Step 4. Use the Evo-Stick Impact Instant Contact Adhesive or similar product and squeeze a good amount of glue onto the inner side walls of the grip. Rotate it while applying the glue to distribute it evenly.
Step 5. In one smooth motion slide the grip onto the handlebar into position, but you must work quickly to get the desired position before the glue dries.
Step 6. Once in place squeeze the grip firmly and tighten the screw, but be careful when screwing the bolt try do not strip off the thread.
